Emily and Michael originally expected to have a larger wedding, but since the pandemic had different plans they decided to have an intimate wedding day instead! Immediately upon arrival my jaw dropped at the beauty of Emily’s childhood home. If you’re on the fence about downsizing your wedding and getting married in your backyard, let this serve as a reminder of how beautiful it can be! This wedding was also featured in The Wedding Co. on how to elegantly downsize your wedding.

Every single detail of Emily and Michael’s wedding day was perfection. She found her vintage wedding dress last minute, the decor and florals were breathtaking, and the little country church they married in was only a short drive away. The whole vibe was laid back and full of laughter, and some of their loved ones who couldn’t attend made sure their day was special! Right after the ceremony, Emily and Michael were welcomed by a surprise wedding parade. One of their friends even surprised them by playing his bagpipes when we arrived back at the house. This will forever be one of my favourite galleries. Thank you for trusting me with capturing all of your memories, Emily and Michael!
